We do our best to accommodate students around their class schedules, but there are
times when we are not available when a student needs health care.
Below are facilities in the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø area that may meet these medical or counseling needs when the center is not available. Be sure to review your insurance plan for coverage prior to seeing a provider.
Students with Graduate student insurance have access to virtual medical and counseling assistance 24/7/365.
International students who have LewerMark insurance coverage have access to virtual medical and counseling assistance and other resources 24/7/365.
Student Health and Counseling
The UAF Student Health and Counseling Center offers after-hours counseling services through TimelyCare.
TimelyCare is offered as a supplement to the extensive existing in-person and virtual services offered by the UAF Student Health and Counseling Center. This is a no cost service offered to enrolled students residing in the United States. These virtual mental health services are available 24/7, 365 days/year and include immediate crisis care and up 9 ongoing counseling sessions per academic year. Students can access these services by downloading the TimelyCare app on their smartphone and sign in using their UAF email account.

Chief Andrew Isaac Health Center offers after-hours counseling services by calling 907-451-6682 or 800-478-6682. This service is limited to students enrolled in the Indian Health Services and eligible to use Chief Andrew Isaac Health Clinic.
