Mental Health First Aid
The UAF Student Health and Counseling Center is proud to offer Mental Health First
Aid training throughout the academic year at a reduced rate for the UA community.
Certified Mental Health First Aid instructors deliver the course. Mental Health First
Aid teaches trainees how to identify, understand, and respond to emerging, worsening,
and crisis-level signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
among adult populations.
HAS BEEN CHANGED TO VIRTUAL Training on April 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $25 for virtual
class. Payment Deadline is Friday, April 10, 2026. .
