UAF offices to close for winter break

Most offices at the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø will be closed for the winter break, Dec. 24, 2019, through Jan. 1, 2020. Many will also be closed or have reduced hours from Dec. 18-23 and Jan. 2-3.

The UAF police and fire departments will remain open throughout the break. The University of Alaska Museum of the North will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. The Student Recreation Center will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, and will have limited hours on other days from Dec. 22-Jan. 4.

UAF campus shuttles will not run during the campus closure. From Dec. 18-23 and Jan. 2-3, the Nenana and Yukon buses will run from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WINTERmester, which includes more than a dozen courses available to students and the community during the break, is scheduled for Jan. 2-11. Courses and registration information are available at /summer/courses/wintermester.php.

Students will begin returning to campus on Jan. 10, when residence halls reopen. The first day of classes for the spring semester is Monday, Jan. 13.
