TO: UAF staff and faculty
FROM: Brian Rogers, UAF Chancellor
SUBJECT: UAF Employee ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Initiative
By now, most of you should have received word of the third annual UAF Employee ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø
Initiative. Employee postcards are out and informational packets will be arriving
to your mailboxes soon. This year’s co-chairs, Susan Sugai and Glenn Juday, have kindly
shared their stories about giving with their shared passions for global change and
arctic research. I’d like to echo their message by encouraging you all to support
your passion at UAF by participating in the Annual ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Program’s third annual Employee
ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Initiative.
Over the years, UAF employees, alumni and friends have contributed time, talents and
dollars to many areas on campus to support UAF’s mission. I know you have a choice
when it comes to giving back, and I appreciate your considering supporting UAF. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø
back not only helps build stronger UAF communities, but your investment in education
today builds a stronger future.
Please remember that payroll deduction is a simple and effective way for employees
to donate. To make a gift by payroll deduction or online, please visit .

P.S. The Employee ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Initiative ends May 11. Please join me and more than 500
UAF employees who have already made a gift this year.
