Summer iTeach opens application period, offers travel scholarships

Get ready for a week of "aha" moments, jaw-dropping tips and critical conversations with your peers. The Instructional Design Team at UAF eLearning and Distance Education will host the next iTeach session May 19-23.

The team members all have experience teaching traditional face-to-face and online courses at UAF. Skills taught during this free five-day workshop will assist faculty, instructors, lecturers and teaching assistants in creating pedagogically sound face-to-face or online courses that are fun, possess academic integrity and meet UAF’s academic guidelines.

UAF eLearning will also offer a limited number of travel scholarships for faculty traveling from campuses outside of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. These scholarships will cover travel, per diem and lodging during iTeach.

Participants will be fed breakfast and lunch every day and each will receive a 16GB iPad mini.
