Radon, healthy homes workshops offered

The ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Cooperative Extension Service will offer separate
workshops in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and Nenana on testing for radon, carbon monoxide and arsenic.
Art Nash, the Extension energy and radon specialist, will lead the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø workshops
Jan. 21 in Room 108 of the University Park Building at 1000 University Ave. The workshop
on radon detection and testing will meet at 4:30 p.m., carbon monoxide at 5:30 p.m.
and testing for arsenic and methods for filtering water at 6 p.m.
The Nenana workshops on Jan. 29 will include radon at 5 p.m., carbon monoxide at 6
p.m. and arsenic at 6:30 p.m. The Nenana Student Living Center at 610 E. Sixth St.
will host the workshops.
