Fundraiser for Bernice Joseph planned

A fundraiser for CRCD Vice Chancellor for Rural, Community and Native Education is planned for Friday, July 27 at 5 p.m. at the Chief David Salmon Tribal Hall. The event will consist of a fry bread taco feed at $10 a plate, live raffles, 50/50 raffles and a baked goods auction.

Joseph was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She will be undergoing chemotherapy treatments in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø and will travel to Seattle for surgery later this year.

Donations of raffle items are needed and can be dropped off at CRCD in the Brooks Building, the Interior-Aleutians Campus at 4280 Geist Road, or the Tribal Hall the day of the event. Themed baskets are also encouraged.
