Fourth annual Weed Smackdown

UAF will host the fourth annual Weed Smackdown, Thursday, July 18. The weed-pulling event will target the invasive bird vetch on the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø campus ski trails, but also aims to increase awareness of other invasive species around the state. Weed pulling will start at 11 a.m. and will end at 12:30 p.m. with an awards ceremony directly following.
