The district Cooperative Extension Service office in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø will be closed Dec.
18 to Jan. 7 for a move to the University Park Building.
The office will reopen Jan. 8 in Room 109 of the building at 1000 University Ave. Hours
will remain 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch hour closure from 1 to 2 p.m.
The Extension office was previously located in the University Park Building but moved
six years ago to the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Community Food Bank building on 27th Avenue. It retained
meeting and classroom space in Room 154 of the University Park Building. The move
is a cost-saving measure by Extension to reduce the use of leased space.
The Cooperative Extension Service is a nationwide education network supported by a
partnership between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and land-grant universities,
including the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. For more information, call the office
at 474-1530.
