Rasmuson archives featured on First Friday, March 6

Historical ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø photos and 1880s bird illustrations from UAF’s Alaska and Polar
Regions Collections and Archives will be showcased throughout March at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Distilling
Co. The exhibit will open during First Friday, March 6, from 4-8 p.m. The Distillery
is located at 410 North Cushman St., in downtown ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø. Admission is free. Minors
must be accompanied by a parent.
Since 1965, the mission of the archives has been to acquire, preserve, and provide
access to materials that document the history of Alaska and circumpolar regions. Collections
include rare books, maps, oral history recordings, films, manuscripts, photos, and
Alaska Native language materials. The archives are located in the Rasmuson Library
