2011 Earth Week events

UAF will celebrate Earth Week with a variety of free events and activities sponsored
in part by the , and , along with local businesses, students, faculty and staff volunteers.
The community is invited to participate in these events, which will be held predominately
on the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø campus. Events include films, forums, a bike fest, food, demonstrations
and competitions in celebration of the Earth. All are free.

April 15 – 19, Residence Life — Lights Out Competition
April 14, 10 p.m., Hess Rec Center — Recycle Craft Night
April 15, 2 p.m., MBS parking lot — Repurpose / Free Van Rides to Gullivers Booksellers, Value Village and Fireweed Consignment Shop.
April 16, 11 a.m., Patty Center — 5K Run (ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Symphony Orchestra fundraiser)
April 17, 7 p.m., Schaible Auditorium — Eating Alaska Movie, Ripe for Change
April 18, 7 p.m., Schaible Auditorium — design e:The Economics of Being Environmentally Conscious
